We conducted Accelearted Full Credit Courses and Remedial Upgrading Courses approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The Credit will be issued by Freemont Academy.

The courses are organized in the form of Independent Study. Our objective is to provide courses, through a variety of challenging teaching means that will complement traditional high school curriculum. At the same time, we also ensure that a credit can be granted for independent learners of all ages seeking an alternative to traditional high school attendance.

By working one on one with an experienced instructor, students benefit from a smaller class size and a closer interaction with our instructors.

Independent Study offers the following advantages to students:

• Students are allowed to enroll at anytime during the year. They can take a course during Summer, Christmas, March Break or anytime that are convenient to them.
• Students can set an individual pace for their work as long as they complete the course within one year.
• A smaller class size that ranges from one to six students enables our instructors to provide a closer personal attention and assistance to students.

While students attending this course usually do well, success depends immensely on their motivation and persistence.

Any students are welcome to enroll in our Accelearted Full Credit Courses. For the Remedial Upgrading Courses, they are restricted to only students who have attempted and completed the same course with a final mark of 35-49.

As of April 10, 2003, students from Havergal College, Yorkmills Collegiate, Don Mills Collegiate, People Christian Academy, St. Robert Catholic School, Thornlea Secondary and The Bishop Strachan School have attended and obtained and credits through our Independent Study program.
